For Chester self catering accommodation, visit Inglenook Cottage!

kpatri - Suffolk

Inglenook cottage is everything it claims to be. We used most of the facilities. It was all in very good order. The community shop is conveniently close and surprisingly well stocked; we felt we were making a small contribution to the village by using it throughout the week.
It was easy to travel in any direction and to avoid the potentially congested junctions. There are any number of good eating places nearby, including a very good pub which you can walk to (opposite Mouldsworth Station). We greatly enjoyed our stay.

We (my husband and I and our 2 year old son) stayed at Inglenook Cottage over Easter 2014. We were looking for a cosy cottage that was close to Chester and had a garden. Inglenook didn't disappoint. The cottage is beautiful with exposed beams and a wood burning stove. The bedrooms were a good size and would suit either a couple or a family (bunk-beds are included!). It is situated in Ashton Hayes, a very scenic village with an amazing shop and very friendly locals, just a short (15 minute) drive into Chester. The absolute icing on the cake was the fantastic 60 foot garden complete with football net (our son was in heaven)! The owners Jenny and Chris live next door and were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be booking again when next we're up North.

A beautiful cottage full of character with everything you need for a short or long term stay.

Log fire, oak beams, sandstone walls and very lovingly renovated adding some lovely new rooms.

The hosts are excellent and extremely accommodating, nothing is too much trouble, very welcoming and friendly.

The village of Ashton Heyes is a gem, quiet and quaint with a village shop/post office, handy for trips to Chester.

Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when staying in Cheshire.

Stayed at Inglenook Cottage from Nov 26-29. This is the perfect home from home for exploring Chester and the surrounding area. A delightful cottage in a delightful quiet setting approximately 8miles from Chester. The cottage has all you need for a short break or longer stay with well equipped kitchen, and well presented bathroom. Although we did not get chance to use it because of the time of year, the cottage has a very spacious garden which looks a nice relaxing space for a summer evening.
